    As an Ikebana instructor/artist, Sachie has more than 25 years of experience in Ikebana. She currently holds Jyonin Somu, the third highest certificate as an Ikebana teacher (out of 12 levels of official certificates).

She is a registered teacher in the Sogetsu school in Japan and a member of the Sogetsu Teachers' Association in Japan. 

She first started Ikebana in Tokyo in 1994 and qualified as an Ikebana teacher in 2000. She has been invited to display her work in a number of art exhibitions, corporate venues and public events. She has done a number of demonstrations and workshops in Japan, Australia and other countries.

   Sachie was born and brought up in Tokyo. Since her childhood, she has been surrounded by Japanese traditional art. Her late grandmother was an Ikebana teacher and her mother is a calligraphy teacher. She believes Ikebana can be made anytime anywhere with any materials. She is a passionate Ikebana artist and instructor.

Her Ikebana works are full of liveliness and movements and express the beauty of nature in every season, from spring to winter.
